Turmeric


Turmeric is a common spice in the kitchen but it has other essential applications. The application of turmeric for medicinal purposes dates back to 1900 BC, when it was used to treat a variety of ailments. Aloe Vera


This plant is widely known for its healing capabilities. Aloe Vera has antibiotic properties. In its pure form, Aloe Vera is used as a moisturizer and skin softener. The aloe leaf has a slimy substance that soothes skin infections such as acne sores. It is also a hidradenitis suppurativa natural treatment

Garlic


Garlic is used for curing many ailments. It consists of antibiotic, antibacterial, and antifungal properties that can treat many skin conditions. When using, simply crush some cloves and form a paste. Apply the paste on the problematic area. Eating garlic cloves can also help treat skin infections.

Tamanu Nut Oil


This oil is derived from an evergreen tree that grows in the South Pacific region. The oil alleviates pain, reduces inflammation, and consists of antibacterial properties. It also encourages new skin cells to grow. Tamanu nut oil is used for treating eczema, acne, shingles, psoriasis, cuts, and scrapes. People with nut allergy are advised against using this oil.

Tea Tree Oil


Tea Tree is an evergreen plant that grows in Asia and Australia. The leaves of this plant have for centuries been used for treating wounds. In the First World War, the leaves were used to disinfect wounds. Tea tree oil is an antifungal and antibacterial and can be used to treat insect bites, cuts, other skin infections.

Borage Seed Oil


This oil may be taken in form of capsules or applied topically. It has proven helpful in treating dermatitis, psoriasis, and eczema, by reducing redness and inflammation. Applied topically, it is an anti-inflammatory that strengthens and moisturizes your skin. Its ability to retain moisture helps relieve itching.

Natural remedies have been used for many years to treat all sorts of skin ailments. These treatments are recognized for getting to the root of the problem, and for having no serious side effects.
