It is expected to grow at 5% annually, and some experts are so optimistic as to predict that by 2021, the LNG liquefaction capacity will grow even by 50% or so.

What does it mean?

Natural gas is not only the major source of energy, it is also the cleanest-burning hydrocarbon. Thus, it is widely used all over the world. Since LNG is a substitute to intermediate fuel oil, gasoil and diesel in transport, the market is expected to grow even more rapidly and the possibilities are wide as the horizon.

Right now, LNG is perceived mainly as an industry of oil and gas or maritime, being used as a fuel for all types of vessels.
