The Bright Future of LNG

LNG is now experiencing quite a rapid upheaval in the global market and is one of the most trending topics in the energy industry. Global leaders are meeting in Barcelona to share their knowledge, experience and insights. Read on!
The LNG industry is relatively young -- slightly more than 50 years old. However, over this time it has grown drastically, having become the world’s second most traded commodity with oil taking the lead. And it does not show any tendency of slowing down just yet.

Conversely, LNG is now experiencing quite a rapid upheaval in the global market and is one of the most trending topics in the energy industry. It is expected to grow at 5% annually, and some experts are so optimistic as to predict that by 2021, the LNG liquefaction capacity will grow even by 50% or so.

What does it mean?

Natural gas is not only the major source of energy, it is also the cleanest-burning hydrocarbon. Thus, it is widely used all over the world. Since LNG is a substitute to intermediate fuel oil, gasoil and diesel in transport, the market is expected to grow even more rapidly and the possibilities are wide as the horizon.

As technologies are moving forward, we are trying to implement environmentally friendly solutions to generate power and to satisfy increasing energy demand. Right now, LNG is perceived mainly as an industry of oil and gas or maritime, being used as a fuel for all types of vessels. However, little do people know yet that it can also be used in aeronautics. So it is safe to say that the tremendous growth of the LNG market will lead to the new projects and infrastructures occurring.

Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?

During the International LNG Summit in Barcelona that will take place on April 24th-25th, 2017, Dr. Jason Hartwig, none other than the Research Aerospace Engineer from NASA, will introduce a unique extraterrestrial submarine project -- Titan Submarine, designed to explore the depths of the hydrocarbon rich seas on the Saturn moon Titan.

Thus, chances are, the International LNG Summit in Barcelona will open a new history page of Aerospace Sciences.

An experienced team of professional event organizers at Wisdom Events takes pride in uniting major industry companies and global leaders from around the globe. The International LNG Summit in Barcelona will host Oil & Gas, Maritime, and Aerospace leaders from all continents. As mentioned before, Jason Hartwig from NASA, Alejandro Garcia Guindulain from Gas Natural Fenosa, Manuel Lage from Gasnam, Francisco Pablo de la Flor from Enagas, and many more are attending. Global leaders are meeting in Barcelona to share their knowledge, experience and insights. They will talk about global trends and importance of the LNG market, innovations in transportation of LNG, challenges in the small scale LNG market and many more.
