The winning team will have a unique opportunity to present its project to leading investors and media at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco 2017 Startup Alley, on September 18-20, 2017. This year, the runner-up team gets a prize as well - a 14-day-free stay for two entrepreneurs at Startup Embassy residence located in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley, an opportunity made possible by one of Spark.me 2017 esteemed sponsors, Startup Embassy. 

The mission of Spark.me Startup Competition is to bring together successful startups from all over Europe, help them grow, and share their ideas with the world. All startups founded after September 1, 2015, and those that have received less than $2.5 million in funding, are eligible to apply, regardless of where they are registered. This is necessary in order to be eligible for the TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2017 Startup Alley.

In order to participate, all interested teams have to fill out the application form at https://spark.me/2017/startups-2/, after which they will go through the pre-selection round. Application deadline is April 30, 2017, 23:59:59 UTC. Ten startup teams that pass the pre-selection round will be announced on Monday, May 19, 2017, on the official conference website, www.spark.me, and will be invited to present their startup in front of an international jury at Spark.me conference. The winning team will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to present and discuss its project with the “tech elite” on September 18-20, 2017 in San Francisco - it will receive two round-trip tickets to San Francisco, hotel accommodation for three days (for two people), two tickets for the three-day TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco 2017 conference, and a Startup Alley booth. The runner-up team will get a 14-day-free stay for two entrepreneurs at Startup Embassy residence located in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley, at the time of their choosing. Please note that the second-place prize does not include travel costs; travel costs fall on the team itself.

Spark.me tickets are available at the conference official website, at www.spark.me. The full price of the ticket is 300€. However, all interested parties can take advantage of the Reduced Rate ticket sale and get their ticket for just 200€, before April 9. High school, undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students who are 27 years old or younger can get their ticket for a special price of 50€. Spark.me conference ticket includes: pass for all the conference sessions, workshops, and the start-up competition, buffet lunch on both conference days, all coffee breaks on both conference days, and a cocktail reception on the evening of Day 1 of the conference. A ticket does not include accommodation and transport. All bought tickets can later be transferred to another person (“name change”), but cannot be refunded.
