Born and brought up at Gandhidham, Mrs. Vishni Israni did schooling from Dr. C.G. High School and is now working as a teacher in the same school. "I have got flair for singing. So, I do sing and perform Sindhi Sangeet to cherish Sindhi culture and create awareness among new generation."
Brief us on your work whereabouts.
I have been a teacher from last 35 years, Ex-President of Gandhidham municipality, working as a member of Bar Association in Lok Adalat for more than 15 years, worked as secretary of Kutch district BJP, worked as a Vice-President of Kutch district BJP. I am currently a member of working committee, Kutch district BJP. I am the Founder member of Sindhi council of India, President of Bharatiya Sindhu Sabha (mahila), Adipur, Vice-President of Rashtriya Sindhi Samaj. I have been a well-known singer of Sindhi community, and have good fame nationally as well as internationally, and am an All India Radio singer.

How was your youth life?
During the youth stage in my life, I have struggled a lot for getting settled in life. I have worked 20 hours a day to balance professional and social life, but always have had faith in God and in Sanths. With their grace I have always achieved unexpected rewards in life.
Was it your dream to grow this high in life?
No, I never expected that I would be such a well-known person. Destiny & blessings have showered happiness and fame in my life. It was our Baba Gelaram's (godhriwala - jalgaon) hand and my husband's cooperation that made the skirmish journey of life easier.
Who has been your inspiration/mentor?
From childhood my mentors were my father Mukhi Meghrajmal Tikyani and company of all the saints who's preaching impacted my life.
What was the most challenging situation that you are proud of having faced and overcome?
It was too challenging when I lost my job during the most critical time of my life. I was getting trained, as well as, was teaching without pay along with nurturing three of my little sons.
What do you think played a prominent role in achieving this position?
Support & co-operation of my family was a great blessing. Especially, my husband Mr. Murlidhar Israni always encouraged me to go ahead in life.
It is said that a woman faces more challenges than a man. What do you think about this?
Yes, women always face challenges in life more than man due to restrictions, social responsibilities, etc. She is always expected to be a perfectionist fulfilling all the roles and that too without expecting any rewards.
What are the roles that you are playing right now? (Personally and Professionally)
Currently, I am a home-maker, school teacher, singer and a politician.

As I have known, you are also in politics, but we never see those tags on your vehicles or your cards, what is the main reason behind it?
To avoid attitude and inculcate gratitude.

Never give up in life and always be positive. The more you struggle the more you become strong to face life and when time comes you will feel struggles to be exciting.
Message to today's youth
Believe in family values and favour joint family culture as I do. It's only family which always stands in every up and down situation of life. Live a dignified life helping others.
