I don't know why but the world seems crazy to me
I don't know why but the world seems crazy to me
I go out every day, in search of what I want to be
I find a lot of solutions, but none makes sense to me
Jostling are people in various directions like a group of honey bee
I observe the world as it is, I doubt whether better could it be
Men want to succeed, their struggle is on, I always see
But when it comes to give the test, only few pay the fee
Looking for never satisfying avenues, they think they are a prodigy
Success never seems to get executed, but they always build a strategy
For most life's a movie, with the show always at matinee
With neither moments of dawn nor of evening delicacy
Every sphere seems weird and a little funny to me
May be I am wrong, but such spheres are too many
I look into each one; the one next, seems even more funny
I don't know why but the world seems crazy to me
I don't know why but the world seems crazy to me
The first sphere I step, a college, where students supposed to study
Time is precious, a jargon gone old, also cold is "time is money"
People have time for everything, but 'everything' seemed nothing to me
They do "everything" and hence claim they are always busy
Nobody s found in classes, where they are supposed to be
Teachers do their job, confronting them, for students is a formality
It's at this that the question comes to me
Why the classes have to be, if being there was a formality
Whether its class or hostel the time ticks anyway
And that's why I say
Nobody does what they ought to do,
Nobody is where they ought to be
May be this is why the world seems crazy to me
The next sphere I step into is a corporate company
Where people work to earn a lot of money
Everybody is working so they call themselves busy
But working are they, so in life, they can be free
To me this seems to be most unresolved irony.
They spend entire life, behind this myth, in agony.
But death leaves them with no time, no money...
