Heaven and Hell
Pretense that all is well,
Action like as if nothing stopped at all;
Even if you’re going through hell,
Even if you’re having a great fall...
Denial of what is,
Acceptance of what will be;
Even if reality is hard to miss
Even when basic survival is key...
Trust in the always and forever,
Doubt in the acts of the devil;
Without trying to be very clever,
Because people are never evil!
Love to the whole of the world
Smile like there’s no sorrow
Even when your best friend has stabbed you in the back yesterday
Even if death has taken a loved one...
There's no joy without sorrow
There's no victory without defeat;
There's no gain without loss,
There's no heaven without hell...
