Light and Darkness - a love story!
Today,
I saw
light and darkness,
playing in my balcony.
Suddenly,
light fell short of breath.
And started to collapse.
Darkness,
opened its arms and enveloped light.
And it did that, with delight.
Lying in the blissful quiet.
Light closed its eyes.
Darkness,
stood whole night awakened.
Ensuring twinkling stars
and
adoring moon,
safeguarding light whole night.
When light opened its eyes.
It felt energised and mesmerised.
It sunkissed darkness and hugged it tight.
And
they together started for the site.
Darkness let the light shine bright.
And it hid itself in the shadows' smite.
They played whole day,
And when light fell short of breath.
And started to collapse.

and
again
every night.
