Samskruthi: A Triumph of Culture and Management at BMS College of Commerce and Management and BMS Evening College of Arts and Commerce

In a spectacular showcase of talent and creativity, BMS College of Commerce and Management and BMS Evening College of Arts and Commerce recently concluded their three-day cultural and management extravaganza, SAMSKRUTHI from May 9th to 11th 2024. The campuses were abuzz with energy as students from various colleges participated in a myriad of events culminating in a grand celebration of art, music and management prowess.

The festivities kicked off with a grand inauguration ceremony on May 9th at the BMSCCM seminar hall graced by esteemed dignitaries and luminaries including Dr. B S Ragini Narayan Madam, Donor Trustee and Member Secretary of BMSET along with Sri Aviram Sharma Sir, Chairman of BMSCCM, Trustee of BMSET and Dr. Pankaj Choudhary Sir, Principal of BMSCCM and BMSECAC who also graced the podium with a vibrant energy that immediately engaged the audience and extended his heartfelt greetings to the distinguished guests, faculty members, and enthusiastic students gathered.
Samskruthi The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Sri Jaggesh Sir, a renowned Kannada actor and member of the Rajya Sabha widely celebrated as the "Navarasa Nayaka." Adding to the event's allure, the ceremony was emceed by Ms. Padmashree and Ms. Rishika from BMSCCM with the esteemed television anchor, Chaitra Vasudevan also joining in. During the felicitation, Dr B S Ragini Narayan Madam extended her gratitude to our chief guest Sri Jaggesh Sir while other dignitaries were felicitated by HODs and faculty members.
In his address, Sri Aviram Sharma Sir praised the success of "Samskruthi," highlighting its exponential growth over the years. He encouraged students to relish the festivities and make the most of the event. Sri Jaggesh Sir in his characteristic comedic style reminisced about his student days imparting motivation and inspiration to the young participants. The television anchor Chaitra Vasudevan provided a special introduction adding significance to the occasion.

The ceremony was further elevated by a soulful devotional song by Ms. Sunidi, a student of BMSCCM accompanied by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The audience was treated to a mesmerizing Jugalbandi dance performance blending Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Yakshagana traditions.
There was a delightful puppet show and mimicry performance by Mr Aryan from BMSECAC eliciting laughter and applause from the audience. Dr. Preethi Stanley Madam, HOD of the Department of Management and Head of Corporate Communication Department delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, staff and students present.

On May 10th, the festivities of "Samskruthi" extended to the vibrant campus of BMS Engineering College where a myriad of events unfolded throughout the day. Adding to the excitement, the dynamic team behind the upcoming movie "Gowri" graced the campus with their presence for the release of the movie's first song. The air was electric with anticipation as students gathered to witness this momentous occasion eagerly awaiting a sneak peek into the cinematic masterpiece in the making.

Samskruthi Moving forward to May 11th, the grand finale of "Samskruthi" culminated in a sensational concert headlined by none other than the iconic Indian singer, Kunal Ganjawala Sir. With his soulful melodies and magnetic stage presence, Kunal mesmerized the audience leaving them spellbound with each note.
Adding to the euphoria, DJ Arun took the stage setting the night ablaze with his electrifying beats ensuring that the festivities ended on a high note. These captivating events not only added to the allure of "Samskruthi" but also underscored the festival's commitment to offering a diverse and enriching experience for all attendees making it a truly unforgettable celebration of culture, creativity, and camaraderie. Samskruthi The success of Samskruthi can be attributed to the visionary leadership of Dr. B S Ragini Narayan, the Donor Trustee, Member Secretary and Chairperson of BMSET, along with Sri Aviram Sharma, the chairman of BMSCCM, Trustee at BMS Educational Trust, and Dr. Pankaj Choudhary, the principal of BMSCCM and BMSECAC. Their unwavering support, coupled with the dedication of the all the HODs and staff members and the enthusiasm of the students made Samskruthi a truly unforgettable experience.
With its vibrant performances, engaging activities, and enthusiastic participation, Samskruthi has left an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of everyone involved. As the curtains close on this year's edition, anticipation builds for the next installment of this cultural extravaganza promising even more excitement and celebration of talent.
