Bengaluru: In an encouraging initiative aimed at supporting deserving students from economically weaker backgrounds, Sarthaka Foundation has announced the Sarthaka Sampoorna Shikshana Scholarship 2026, a scholarship program designed to help aspiring engineers and doctors pursue higher education without financial constraints.
The foundation will offer 10 full-course scholarships to students who have performed well in the CET or NEET examinations and are preparing to enter engineering or medical education. The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by providing financial assistance to meritorious students who may otherwise struggle to continue their education.
Under the scholarship program, selected engineering students will receive ₹60,000 per year for four years, while medical students will receive ₹75,000 per year for five years toward their tuition fees. The scholarship, however, does not cover expenses related to books, hostel accommodation, or other educational costs.
According to the foundation, the scholarship aims to identify students with strong academic potential and genuine financial need. The selection process will be based on CET or NEET performance, economic background, personal interviews, and home verification.
Of the ten scholarships being offered, six seats are open to students from any caste or community, while four scholarships have been earmarked for students from the Arya Vysya community as per the sponsor’s request.
Sarthaka Foundation, headquartered in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, has been involved in several social welfare initiatives with the objective of supporting individuals and families through education and community development programs. The organization believes that education remains one of the most effective tools for social transformation.
“Many bright students lose educational opportunities due to financial limitations. Through this scholarship, we hope to support deserving students and help them pursue their dreams of becoming engineers and doctors,” representatives associated with the initiative said.
Applications for the scholarship are currently open, and the last date for submission is July 20, 2026. Students requiring assistance with the application process can reach out to the trustees of the foundation.
Interested candidates can apply online through the scholarship application form made available by the foundation.
As the cost of professional education continues to rise across India, initiatives such as the Sarthaka Sampoorna Shikshana Scholarship offer timely support to students who possess the talent and determination to succeed but require financial assistance to achieve their ambitions.
For many aspiring doctors and engineers, this scholarship could become an important stepping stone toward a brighter future, reinforcing the belief that financial circumstances should never become a barrier to education.
