Milwaukee, WI – Wanderful has announced that Danica Kombol, CEO of the Everywhere Agency will deliver a keynote address at the fourth annual Women in Travel Summit (WITS).

WITS is the premier event for women travel influencers, creators, and brands. Its goal is to provide women travelers with the tools, connections, and resources they need to become better travel bloggers and entrepreneurs while growing its global sisterhood of dedicated women who travel. WITS ’17 will be held at the historic Hilton Milwaukee City Center Hotel from April 21-23, 2017. WITS is the creation of Wanderful, an international community and online resource for women who travel.

Danica Kombol is the CEO of the Everywhere Agency, a leading social media and content marketing firm that works with Fortune 500 companies crafting and executing successful campaigns. She founded the influencer network, Everywhere Society, to power the agency’s many award-winning influencer campaigns for clients like Macy’s, Carter’s, Cox Communications and others. One of her claims to fame is that Everywhere secured the Guinness World Record for the most socially networked message via their cause campaign, #BeatCancer. Her agency devotes a full 20% of its time to social issues and non-profits. Danica launched #Bloggers4Haiti, an initiative to raise awareness of the artisan sector through Macy’s Heart of Haiti initiatives. She has lead 7 blogger trips to Haiti since the earthquake.

As a social media marketer, Danica draws on her extensive background as a television producer and public relations executive. She began her career at Sesame Workshop and went on to become a successful television producer working on such legendary shows as Saturday Night Live and Kids in the Hall. She blogs alternately about social media trends on her own site and at Tech.co. She admits she abandoned her beloved travel blog, BeirutorBust.com to run her agency but hopes her time at WITS will kickstart her travel blogging again! She’s a frequent speaker at social media conferences and global forums.

Danica serves on the board of WOMMA (Word of Mouth Marketing Association), is a member of Women’s President’s Organization and received the coveted Womenetics POW Award for her business accomplishments. She’s a wildly adventurous traveler who counts cities like Beirut and countries like Rwanda among her favorite travel destinations.

Approximately 400 attendees joined WITS ’16 last March in Irvine, California, with speakers from around the world. WITS ’17 expects a turnout of 500 international travel influencers, creators, and industry executives.
