The African Summit on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ASENTI) and Exhibition is a platform for global entrepreneurship and innovation open to applicants from Africa and across the world. This year summit will be hosted in Uganda Kampala City in October 24-26 at International University of East Africa (UIEA) Kansanga, with over 2000 delegates and over 40 speakers from across the globe in attendance. This year’s summit will focus on different pillars; Youth Empowerment through employement skills, Energy, Agribusiness, Finance, media, Science and mobile Technology and new technology trends. The panel discussion will holistically focus on the above mentioned subjects. The breakout sessions will be hosted by different ASENTI partners. Hence it will be a wonderful opportunity for the companies and delegates to interact. The future of Uganda and that of Africa lies on great entrepreneurial and innovation mindset; The summit will be attended by mostly students, startups, Micro enterprises, SMEs, Chamber of commerce and professionals from across different industries in Uganda and other countries; Every year ASENTI runs an awards that recognizes some of the best business ideas and startups in Uganda and other African countries.

The Summit’s main goals are to create a platform which enhances idea sharing and interaction among sectors in order for the entrepreneurs to be a catalyst for innovation and economic growth in Africa.
ASENTI is a platform created to provide Innovators and Entrepreneurs from Africa to take stock of the achievements made in the ‘year of Entrepreneurship’ and as well provide a platform to interact with stakeholders and other players in the entrepreneurship Industry. The theme of this year’s Summit will be “Rethinking Innovation Africa.”
ASENTI brings together the best speakers in different industries and potential investors and innovators creating informative discussion on entrepreneurship and other related factors. It is a great avenue to create a long lasting business network both locally and internationally. ASENTI was started in 2014 and has had previous impact conferences in Kenya.
