Little Memories
The little memories keep flooding.
The thoughts fail to cease.
The memories of the little fights and cries,
bring even today sweet sour smiles.
The hands which lifted me,
the arms which protected me,
fill my heart with sense of gratitude.
The first cry in school,
the first laugh with friends,
fills the eyes with tears.
The little trophies, the sand houses,
the Tiffin’s shared all makes me wish
The good old days come back.
The cat and the mouse race
The dance and songs makes me a child again
I wish, my memories would be a reality again
But thoughts strike back, for memories are to be treasured
And it is today which is to be lived happily
To treasure the moments of today has beautiful memories of tomorrow.
