Words Heal
When the heart is pierced so deep
Such that impulses are felt all over
No blood or cut is seen and yet
The heart is seen to be broken
A broken heart and a wounded soul
These are critical conditions and undesired
Because like diseases they kill
And like diseases, can be healed
There are medicines to heal and to relieve
The sicknesses and diseases of the body
There are blades that aid in healing
Even sharp edges that cannot be held
Apply softly but yet deeply
Use diversely but with dosage
And uniquely they will heal and bring joy
Words they are, medicines even more
