BMS College of Commerce and Management, in association with ICA Edu Skills, hosted a Mega Job Fair on January 10 and January 11, 2024. The importance of a Job Fair in a student's life cannot be overstated. It serves as a crucial bridge connecting students with prospective employers, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills and talents. Job Fairs play a pivotal role in shaping the professional trajectory of students, offering them a chance to explore diverse career paths and interact with industry leaders.

BMS College of Commerce and Management (BMSCCM) and ICA Edu Skills have always been at the forefront of fostering academic excellence and career development. BMSCCM, known for its commitment to holistic education, partnered with ICA Edu Skills, a renowned organization dedicated to enhancing employability skills, to bring forth this Mega Job Fair.

The inauguration ceremony of Mega Job Fair 2024 on 11 January, 2024 was graced by the presence of Dr. B.S. Ragini Narayan , Donor Trustee, Member Secretary, and Chairperson of BMSET, and Chief Guest Shri Uday B Garudachar, Member of Karnataka Legislative assembly, trust officials, faculty members, and eager job aspirants also marked their attendance. The event commenced with an invocation song, followed by a warm welcome address by Dr. Preethi Stanley, the Head of Corporate Communication and Management Department. The proceedings included a lamp lighting ceremony, a chief guest address, and a presidential address by Shri Aviram Sharma. Dr. Pankaj Choudhary, the Principal of BMSCCM, concluded the ceremony with his address and a vote of thanks.

The Mega Job Fair unfolded over two dynamic days, showcasing a strategic approach to connect job seekers with prospective employers. The first day was exclusively dedicated to BMSCCM students, providing them with an exclusive platform to explore career prospects with industry leaders. The second day welcomed participants from over 60 colleges, attracting a substantial 400 registrations from ambitious job aspirants eager to make their mark in the professional world.

This grand event saw active participation from twenty-one reputable companies, demonstrating the strong industry network fostered by BMSCCM and ICA Edu Skills. The list of esteemed companies included Intellipaat, Tech Mahindra, KAD, Euromonitors, IBE Forum, H1 HR Solutions, Huligemma Consultancy, Genius Consultancy, and Teleperformance Solutions Pvt. Ltd., among others.
The diverse range of companies ensured a plethora of opportunities across various industries, catering to the diverse skill sets of the attending job aspirants.

The Mega Job Fair 2024 culminated in a resounding success, with 150 students securing job offers during the event. Among the notable achievements, 35 students were awarded the highest salary package of 7.5 lakhs, a testament to the caliber and potential of the talent pool presented by BMSCCM and ICA Edu Skills. Beyond being a platform for talent acquisition, the Mega Job Fair 2024 facilitated meaningful interactions between students and industry experts. This exchange of ideas, insights, and experiences not only enriched the learning process for the students but also provided a valuable bridge between academia and the professional world, paving the way for a promising and successful future.
