The Power of Being One

I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots. - Albert Einstein
Internet Addiction
Yesterday, I saw a flock of villagers standing erected in a tractor trolley heading towards some government office. The thing that crossed my mind was that even if we live in big cities with literate society all around us yet we often fail to "unite" during the time required whether it’s a minute of happiness or a minute of distress. Expressing happiness, sympathies and condolences through our likes and tweets doesn't solve the purpose to a much extent. Being physically present with the person in the hour of need will surely do. As per very famous words of Albert Einstein where he says, "I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots."

We can very well see this in today's time. Today, if we want to have a family meeting all we need to do is to go to the Wi-Fi router room, plug it off, and the whole family will gather there to detect it. Then we have a happy and sweet family meeting.

Moreover, religious places like temples and mosques etc., were built with the idea of people not only praying there but also to socially interact and know each other during their congregation as the power lies in "being congregated" only.
