I saw birds flying high, 
But the sky wasn't safe - thunderstorm was about to come
Poor things, I looked and sighed,
I went near to explore - it was nothing but scum

I went through the details, all magical definition
With everything 'they' had said
Reality was found nowhere, but.
At the end, the very truth I get

I am glad it shined, it showed me the path
But also reflected the dark way
I ran hastily to find a safe place
For me to pious, stay

Glad it glittered; its reflections saved me,
From picking it up for life
All that shines, sometimes only apparent
