Harnessing Fintech Innovation In Retail Banking 2017
Arena International is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Harnessing Fintech Innovation in Retail Banking conference will take place in London on 7th-8th June 2017. This unique event is the only platform which puts retail banks at the centre of the fintech debate.
Focused on equipping banks with the tools necessary to create a sustainable innovation strategy to stay relevant to consumers, the agenda is packed with interactive and thought-provoking sessions. Delegates at the two-day event will have the opportunity to network with representatives from the top European banks and regulators such as the CMA and EBA. Over the two days, we will discuss topics such as nurturing a culture of innovation, best practices for integrating with fintech and the opportunity PSD2 offers to both banks and fintechs.
Through case-study led presentations and interactive panels, workshops and lightning rounds, the senior-level speaking faculty will collaborate with the audience to discover best practices for creating a sustainable innovation strategy. To help banks create their innovation roadmap, leading consultants, legal services, software platform solution providers and more will be in attendance to offer innovative solutions to your challenges.
The first day of the conference will open with a panel discussion on building the bank of the future in which the CMA and 3 retail banks will discuss how new regulations and industry drivers will force change in the sector. Following on from this, representatives from Danske Bank, BPCE and Swedbank will discuss how you can best nurture a culture of innovation within the bank. Also on the agenda for 7th June is an interactive workshop led by Nordea on how to increase the implantation rate of innovation lab projects in the bank.
On Day 2 of the conference, delegates will be given the opportunity to look at how new technologies are being practically implemented in Europe’s banks, including case studies on automation and Open APIs. With PSD2 fast approaching, we have also included a section on new opportunities in payments. Payments UK and the EBA will give their perspectives on the threats and opportunities PSD2 offers for banks.
Practically the event will explore the various models adopted by banks, evaluating case study examples of successes and challenges. Retail banks will investigate the various existing and future disruptors and challengers as well as the opportunities for collaboration and open innovation. Strategic representatives from retail banks across Europe will leave this event with ideas, tested initiatives and a new network with which to define their future in an increasingly challenging and expectant market.
