She gives the plants and the trees
She gives the birds and the bees
Through the food to eat
She gives every single heart beat
She gives every little wing beat
She gives beauty to a mother
She gives strength to a father
Through love and passion from the wild
She gives life to every single child
Wheres the beauty in waste and rejection
Wheres the strength in abuse and oppression
When tears sting overcomes the fears
When love lingers through the years
As this life isnt really given
Its only ever lent
Til the last day of loving
We have finally spent
