O weak survivor
O broken warrior
O weeping fighter
O discouraged journey man
Bend low on your tired knees
In homage to the Almighty
Rise on your ready feet
And greet the day
See the sun majestically seated above your head
As it duly performs its chores
Be courageous and have faith
You’ll still make it
Ignore the torturous miseries of yesterday
The sun still shines make hay
Perhaps success might come your way
Today might be your payday
What tomorrow has in store I know not
But if you do your work
And confront the day with no fear
Then tomorrow will smile at you.
