Experience the Power of Google Bard in India: What to Expect and How to Use

Artificial intelligence has taken the world by storm after the introduction of chatGPT by openAI and now BARD by Google is here. Read ON! #StayInspiredOnTheGo
Google Bard Google's artificial intelligence-powered chatbot, Bard, has been launched in over 180 countries, including India, as announced during the Google I/O 2023 event. The flagship chatbot, which was launched in February 2023, is built on Google's neural network architecture, called Transformers, and is designed around the premise of search. The network uses LaMDA, a language model for dialogue applications, to identify patterns in large datasets of text, allowing Bard to generate natural-sounding conversational responses.

Bard's launch in more than 180 countries marks a significant expansion for the chatbot, which has rapidly improved and learned new abilities since its launch. The move is part of Google's commitment to using artificial intelligence to help everyone reach their full potential, from professionals to students, parents, and developers. Google has been consistently making advancements in its language research, and its models are being integrated into a wide range of products and services.

According to Sissie Hsiao, vice president and general manager of Google Assistant and Google Bard, many languages require deep work to get things like quality and local nuances right. Google is pleased to share that Bard will be available in 40 languages soon, including the Indian language Bengali. Additionally, Google Bard will also be available in more languages, including Japanese and Korean.

Bard's integration with Google Docs and Gmail will enable users to export Bard responses easily. Google has also introduced tools such as Google Photos and Google Lens to Bard. According to Hsiao, the move will help Bard become more visual both in its responses and props. However, the company has stated that Bard is still in an experimental stage and may give inaccurate or inappropriate responses, and users are encouraged to leave feedback to help make Bard better.

Google Bard During the Google I/O 2023 event, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet and Google, announced several AI-powered features, including 'Help Me Write' in Gmail, 'Immersive View For Routes' in Google Maps, and 'Magic Editor' in Google Photos. The 'Help Me Write' feature in Gmail will have an additional option of 'Elaborate,' making the text more comprehensible. The feature will be launched in the next few months. The 'Immersive View For Routes' feature for Google Maps will be launched later this year in 15 cities, including London, Tokyo, and San Francisco. The new feature will forecast weather conditions for the next few hours to help users plan their schedule accordingly.

Google has emphasized the importance of building Bard alongside its users, with their feedback being key to making the product better. Starting next week, Google will ensure that code citations are even more precise and will show the source of specific blocks of code. Additionally, citations will apply to narrative content from across the web. Google will also add an Export button, considering the feedback from developers who enjoyed some of the explanations and generation they saw and wanted to export the code lab, specifically from the Python lab. Developers will be able to export into the Restlet IDE to build and iterate their ideas.
Google Bard All in all, Google's AI-powered chatbot, Bard, has been launched in over 180 countries, marking a significant expansion for the chatbot. Built on Google's neural network architecture, Bard uses LaMDA to generate natural-sounding conversational responses.
Bard's integration with Google Docs and Gmail, along with the introduction of tools such as Google Photos and Google Lens, will make it more visual in its responses and props. With its commitment to building Bard alongside its users, Google will ensure that the chatbot continues to improve and evolve.
