If you plan on taking electric appliances with you, then keep in mind that the mains voltage is 240 V. If the appliance isn’t using this voltage, then get an adapter in advance because not all hotels are going to provide it for you.

You can make calls to other cities from phone booths which you can find on busy streets in the city. They use special telephone cards that you can buy at the post office or any newsstand.

There is a special call rate if you use the phone between 8:00 pm to 8:00 am.
